Nebula and Star Clusters

Nebula refers to the stellar nursery where stars take birth. It is a huge collection of dust and gases where every now and then a new star takes birth. It is to be noted that a star takes take millions of years to form a sphere out of the cloud of gas and dust. There are various beautiful nebulae in our sky which are visible from a telescope. For e.g. The Crab Nebula, The Rosette Nebula, The Eagle Nebula, and many more. After a star is born leaves the Nebula and moves away from it. Even our star Sun formed in some nebula and
then left it. We have no clue which nebula does it belong to!!!!!

Star Clusters are a group of stars. Although these stars are far apart from each other but as seen from earth seem to be closer to each other forming a group. There are two types of star clusters: Open Star Cluster: when there is no particular shape  of the group is called open star cluster for e.g. Pleiades star cluster. Globular star cluster: when stars are grouped in a way that they form an enclosed sphere it is called globular star cluster for e.g. NGC 7089.
